Just an idea... for another before and after

I forgot to take a "before " shot but you all have seen this dresser or one just like it numerous times. It was brown, solid wood, plain , wood knobs, boring!! It took a coat of Kilz, 2 coats of white glossy paint, painted those plain knobs black and had some "frenchy"  looking numbers cut out of black vinyl by a Cricuit machine and applied them to the drawers!
Voila, she's a new lady!

I love the frenchy looking type. Perfect for so many things. I need to look into one of these vinyl cutting machine thingys. I've heard about them, they sound great, but I'm totally clueless.

Cheers,

I love that dresser. Isn't is fun to take something and make it beautiful again. You do such a great job. I just don't have the patience for that kind of detail. That is why I love shabby...don't have to be perfect, cause you are just going to rough up the edges anyway. Have a great week and stay warm!

What a sweet dresser Carol, I love that font for the lettering. Has a great Swedish country flavor to it. Love love love it!

I think white paint can save about anything! I like the vinyl numbers. So cute.
